Notes

Notes are block-based documents that live inside collections. Use them to annotate the links and files you collect, draft summaries, or keep structured text right next to the source material.

Where

In the web app, open a collection and click a note block inside it to open the note editor. There is no separate notes entry in the left navigation.

How

Create a note

  1. Inside a collection, add a note block (select the note block type from the add menu). The notes editor opens.
  2. Click New note in the notes editor toolbar to create a new note page.
  3. Give the page a title by clicking the title area at the top of the editor.

Write and format

  1. Click a note in the left panel to open it in the editor.
  2. Type in the editor. Press / to open the block type menu and insert an element — heading, list, quote, code block, image, or others.
  3. Use Add subheading and Add separator from the toolbar to add structure to the note list.

Edit together in real time

Multiple people can edit the same note page at the same time. Changes appear immediately for all collaborators.

Limits

  • Notes are blocks in the collection, so they count toward the workspace's block limit (100 blocks on the Free plan).
  • All collaborators need at least view access to the collection — see Sharing & permissions.

Not available yet

  • Exporting a note as a standalone file (PDF, Markdown, etc.) directly from the editor.
