Collections

Collections live inside a workspace and group the items — blocks — that you save.

Structure​

Collec has a three-level hierarchy:

Workspace → Collection → Blocks
  • A workspace holds collections and members.
  • A collection holds blocks and defines who can see them.
  • A block is a single saved item: a link, note, file, or clip.

Visibility​

Each collection has one of three visibility settings: Private (only you), Team (selected members), or Whole workspace (all workspace members). Visibility is the permission boundary — members who can see a collection can see the blocks inside it. For finer control, individual blocks can also be shared — see Sharing & permissions.

Organizing inside a collection​

Use folders to group related blocks, reorder items, and move blocks between collections. Deleted blocks go to the trash first, so you can restore them.
