Browser extension

The Collec browser extension adds a side panel to Chrome. From there you can save the page you are reading, browse your workspace, and use AI chat — all without switching tabs.

Where​

  • Click the Collec icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the side panel.
  • Or press Ctrl+Shift+S from any tab.

The side panel's right-side navigation rail has four tabs: 홈 (Home), 채팅 (Chat), 컬렉션 (Collections), and 클립보드 (Clipboard).

How​

Save the current page​

Open the side panel. A bar along the bottom of the 홈 (Home) or 채팅 (Chat) view shows the current page title. Click the Bookmark icon — tooltip 이 페이지 저장 (Save this page) — to save the page as a link block into your default collection.

Browse your workspace​

Switch to 컬렉션 (Collections) in the navigation rail to open your workspace's collection tree. Items you save from the extension appear in the web app in real time.

AI chat​

Switch to 채팅 (Chat) in the navigation rail. See AI chat for the full guide.

Limits​

  • A Collec account is required. If you open the extension without being signed in, a login screen covers the side panel. Enter your email or choose a social provider (Google, Kakao, Apple, GitHub) — a Collec login window opens in your browser, and the extension connects once you sign in there.
  • AI chat consumes credits from your workspace pool. See AI chat for daily limits.
  • Chrome is the only supported browser.

Not available yet​

  • Firefox, Edge, and other browsers.
